The work described in this report is done by a group small enough that every arrival and every change of role matters.
In August, Lillian “Lillie” Barnes joined us as Administrative Assistant. Valarie Kimber trained her, and Lillie was quickly contributing across an improbably wide range — financial account attestations, alumni affairs and development reporting, web publishing, and event planning. In December she took over web publishing for the Supreme Court Bulletin, and in June Val handed her primary responsibility for publishing Supreme Court opinions on decision day.
