Testimonials

As has become our tradition, we’re sharing testimonials collected from among the thousands of donors who supported LII in FY24:

Cornell’s Legal Information Institute has been for many years, and remains, one of the most accessible, up-to-date, and useful legal caselaw, statutory and regulatory resources available to the general public, upon which I have frequently relied as a practicing attorney for over 45 years. I feel a great debt of gratitude to the editors, staff and students who continue to provide this incredibly valuable resource. Many, many thanks for your diligence and energetic efforts.

Cornell is my favorite website for seeking legal information and it’s not close. In my opinion, Cornell’s website does a great job of making things easy to understand for the average person. I appreciate the work Cornell puts into this website and I hope it’s here to stay for ever.

An exceptionally valuable civic service to the Country.

As a compliance official, I deeply appreciate the quick access, clear organization, and internal links to navigate through the vast web of USC and CFRs.

I am a journalist. Your website is a quick, handy, and reliable reference when I need to tell my readers, viewers, and listeners ‘chapter and verse’ about whatever law(s) are at play in myriad public controversies. Keep up the great work!

I am still paying off my tuition from my undergrad years at Cornell and therefore typically brush off additional solicitations by the university or its affiliates for any additional donations… BUT, now that I am in law school, I (and all of my peers/professors) use Cornell LII religiously, and I will gladly support a mission that prioritizes access to/education about the law. I am very appreciative of the time and effort the LII team puts into the diligent upkeep of a free, accessible, and well-organized legal resource for both the general public and those in the legal field alike. Thank you!
