Cornell’s Legal Information Institute has been for many years, and remains, one of the most accessible, up-to-date, and useful legal caselaw, statutory and regulatory resources available to the general public, upon which I have frequently relied as a practicing attorney for over 45 years. I am still paying off my tuition from my undergrad years at Cornell and therefore typically brush off additional solicitations by the university or its affiliates for any additional donations… BUT, now that I am in law school, I (and all of my peers/professors) use Cornell LII religiously, and I will gladly support a mission that prioritizes access to/education about the law.
